The Office of Experiments & Muffins was established for the purpose of conducting experiments of an unspecified nature, the results of which may or may not be useful, and the muffins, which are not negotiable.

The Office operates as the institutional and lore parent of Standard Muffin Laboratories. The Laboratories conduct the technical work. The Office provides the gravity.

All operations of the Office are governed by the Standards issued by Standard Muffin Laboratories, except when they are not, in which case the Office issues a Memorandum.
